Desna confronts the traumas and disenfranchisement experienced by Black children in the UK. As a devoted mother, Desna has first-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by the Black community in school systems, particularly impacting Black boys. For Desna, it’s about being really intentional in cultivating their potential and preserving confidence.
